B.K.S. Iyengar's web site is the official site for Iyengar yoga, and is probably the best place to start trying to find a teacher. There is a teacher search page with a drop-down list for all countries. Many of the certified Iyengar teachers can be found there.

Although not as regularly maintained as it once was, Ivan Herger's Iyengar Yoga Resources is an extmerely comprehensive site on Iyengar yoga. It enjoys a large range of articles and newsletters. There is also a Directory of Iyengar Yoga Centers around the world, a forum where questions can be posed and answered and much else. The site also sells yoga merchandise.

Iyengaryoga.org is another very comprehensive volunteer site on Iyengar yoga. As well as a teacher search section, there is a membership area where members can participate. Occasional grants are given to teachers working with HIV/AIDS, Parkinson's and the like. The site also awards scholarships to those who would like to train to become teachers or travel to India to study at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute. As with the above site, there are articles on the therapeutic benefits of yoga and the like. Merchandise is again available for purchase.
